Took a peek inside here, but we ended up eating elsewhere. Locals tell me LUCA Deli is the real deal. Certainly smelled good in there, with plenty of Italian meats in the display, and all the sides to go with! Next door is the "Cantinetta Luca" eatery with table seating. SEE MY PHOTOS

They serve in the counter, you need to pick your food and drinks, but they still demmand tipping like it's a restaurant. They didn't even clean the table after the previous customer. I had to clean before and after myself. The sandwiches are good but it's a similar service to that in Wholefoods.

This was one of the best tomato and mozzarella sandwiches I've ever had!

We stopped here for lunch and had the deli sandwiches and the gelato. Both were excellent. But warning - those sandwiches are pretty big - you might just want to share. The sauces on the sandwiches were just right, the veggies were completely ripe and delicious, the meat was on the spicy side and the bread was grilled perfectly. The gelato has intense flavors!! Very yummy! They also sell Italian groceries although the selection is pretty small. Although there is no real seating inside other than I think one table just around the corner is a cute little area with several benches and a lovely Garden planted there. It is great for eating your sandwich and people watching.

The pizza in the window is amazing. The crust looks thick and heavy but it is actually so soft and fluffy with the perfect amount of crisp! Delicious!! Everything else looks great too. The staff are funny and down to earth. A great shop.
