I've done several deals with SDAS, and Jim. Jim has always been a gentleman....honest, and gracious, doing exactly what he said he would do. I'm not sure how some of the reviews here were formulated. Maybe they didn't hear what they wanted to hear (that their plane wasn't worth what they thought), or expected more than one should expect, but my experiences couldn't have been better. Thanks Jim!!!

ZERO STARS for these fools masquerading as sales of aircraft! I called numerous times to schedule an appointment to buy one of their planes for sale and each time the guy Jim I believe his name is makes lame excuses and cannot show me the plane. So WTF are they doing in this business? I wonder how he pays the bills if he never tries to provide real customer service? I would never do business with these clowns.

I'm trying to sell my piston single and wanted to get an idea of its present wholesale value, so I filled out their online form and waited all day for call. Finally just called and spoke with Tom, who didn't seem to know about my online submission...but was nice enough to speak candidly and honestly about how bad the market is and my options for selling. A few weeks later, got a call from Jim (apparently is Toms business partner who had no idea I spoke with Tom and was just then following up on my online submission). I was actually confused as who he was...as the follow-up was so delayed and I'd already spoken at length to Tom. Jim proceeded to basically berate me as being naiive to the market (sort of why I contacted them in 1st place), etc....basically speaking to me like I was a dog who'd just urinated on his carpet. It was so bad, I practically had to just hang up phone. This was apparently a sales pitch to do me the 'favor' of looking at my plane and then allowing me to basically donate it to him so that he may resell it for a profit. If this Jim character's attitude is any indication of how they do business (I believe it probably is), I'd stay steer far clear of this place..buying or selling.

Dishonest business.  The business engages in shady dealings and the owner is dishonest.  The owner gives this song and dance about how much integrity he has and that he attends church regularly.  I should have questioned the place considering how much time he spent trying to tell me how honest he is.  The co-owner is self-serving and greedy.  I also checked the california website for licensed brokers and go figure, the name of the business or owners are not listed.
