Encinitas Sherriff’s Department ~~ Who’s in Jail And Why…. Early this morning I got a call from the Vista Courthouse only to be informed that my recently turned 18-yr-old grandson had just been booked for alleged threats and vandalism after being attacked and assaulted by his aunt and adult cousin at the home where he resides. His aunt, Rhonda Dowdy, is an established family law attorney with connections to both superior court and the Encinitas sheriff’s department giving her protection from being jailed. Her connections run deep both as a lawyer and troubled parent with 3 grown sons – all with extensive criminal histories related to violence, distribution and sales and use of crystal meth and other hard core drugs – which is known and overlooked by the sheriff’s department because of professional loyalties and ties to federal law enforcement agencies “cutting a deal” dating back to 1995. (In 1996 I sued the United States Supreme Court for civil rights violations and the court didn't take well to being documented as corrupt. More on this subject to be shared soon.) Upon listening to my grandson’s account and hearing his distress he told me how he cut his hand after he smashed into a glass cabinet while sprinting from his aunt’s aggression in an attempt to exit safely from the home. Having eye witnessed my sister and her boys threaten my grandson as well witnessing him being grabbed by the arm without being provoked – I had no reason to doubt that what he was saying was correct. So after speaking to him I contacted the sheriff’s department and asked to speak to the arresting officer (“Keller”) who promptly called back. When I asked the officer WHY the boy was NOT allowed to file an assault complaint the officer fired back that’s not how it works. So I proceeded to inquired into WHY he was the only party arrested when the boy had referenced the argument and clearly showed signs of being attacked. It became clear from the discussion the officer simply did not want to be bothered. From what I could tell, he (“the officer”) didn’t feel it was necessary or see any reason to arrest both parties let alone lodge a complaint to represent the boy’s side. After all, the kid didn’t make the call to the sheriff, he wasn’t the party initiating the complaint and therefore not recognized as the party applicable to file. Seemingly annoyed by my questions the officer whimsically asked if I was there at the time of the assault or when statement was supplied – hum, really? Do you have to ask? Giving him the benefit of late night hour’s response I politely replied, hum… um “NO”, of course not, otherwise why would I be initiating this call to inquirer. (Hum… Okay, since when does a police officer act as judge, not ask questions or take up the role of deciding who gets a voice or who’s decide who’s victim and who’s being victimized?) For now this event is far from over but the charges filed at the suggestion of the arresting officer apply as follows: 1) Threat/Crime/ Cause/Death/GBI (PC 422), and 2) Vandalism over $400 (PC 594(A)(B)(1)). The arraignment hearing is set for tomorrow 11/21/2017 at 1:30 pm in NCV (Felony Dept.). Bail is set for this first time offense at $50,000. When he gets assigned a judge – I will share MORE about the background of the parties (and people associated hiding crucial facts.) If interested in knowing more I will be posting updates, web links, videos, and bottom line summations to the underlying handling of this arrest as well as the supporting history dating back to 1993. The Information promises to be entertaining and easy on the eyes. Thank you for taking time and interest.

I was recently involved in an accident. The Deputies arrived in minutes, cool, calm, collected, professional. I was a mess. Sgt. Watkins stayed by me the entire time. All the deputies were calm, comforting, and professional. They operated together like a well-oiled machine. Medical help was there in a flash, also. Can't say enough good about the Encinitas Station deputies, they were life-savers. Truly there to protect and serve, and I am forever grateful!

What kind of government agency can write thousand dollars tickets but can not accept debit cards for payment or corrections? And they close half an hour early - probably to go for the second round of donuts that are conveniently located right next to the station. Thanks for being the jewel of our failing bureocracy and proving that I don't need you to "protect and serve" me. Ever. Hope your station closes and you all are dismissed soon.

Officer Wade grossly arrogant and disrespectful when speeding down our private road and asked to slow down. There are small children who often play on our street cul de sac. Rolled his eyes at me. Wonder why the citizens and youth of our community have so little respect for the Sheriff Dept . Treat us the way you would want to be treated..... Didn't his parents teach him that ?
