Visiting this place was a great experience. The stuff exposed in the museum are very interesting. You can learn a lot about Texas history. Going up to the "lookout" is a good experience too, you can see the ships, the fields, etc. We went on Sunday and Fortunately it was not too crowded. if you are going to visit this place, don't forget to go with about 1-2 hours if you are that kind of person that like to read everything, because the museum closes at 6pm no matter what.

Visiting the SJ Monument was awesome! Lots of cool things to see in the museum and learn about. I went on a Sunday wasn't crowded at all and no line to take the elevator up. Was a great experience :)

Great for fans of Texas history. The monument is taller than the Washington monument because of the base. Everything's bigger in Texas!

This is a must see after going to the Alamo! I love history. The monument museum is great. Many stories and artifacts. There is also a souvenir shop. With the lights I am thinking night time pictures of this place will be great too. You can also see the battleship Texas from here.

Interesting history, the artifact display is worth the visit alone! Amazing how small people were back in those days. Don't miss battleship Texas whilst your there.
