Worst hospital ever!! I won't go there if I'm about to die!! Save your life and don't go here. I waited in a bed a blood for 1 hour 45 mins with all my monitors off to get help. I had to call the front desk of the hospital to get a nurse in my room. PISSED OFF AND NOT HAPPY!! Oh yeah they said "sorry" sorry won't save a life. If I could give them a ZERO I would.

As long as you realize you are not the only issue they are dealing with the facility is just fine. I have been in there several times and every time they have come through for me. There have been times when I was the center of what was going on and other times the 3 people needing helivac were placed before me for obvious reasons. They made sure I was stable then dealt with them and came back do me asap. Be patient. They know what they are doing. They will come through for you too if you will just let them do their job.

Got an ultrasound appointment from midwife at OBGYN. When I showed up, the proper document was not forwarded to Radiologist. So they couldn't take me in. Updated: While I was 7 months pregnant I tested negative for Strep B. But when I my baby was delivered she tested positive. How did this happen? Dr. blamed false negative. In my opinion my daughter was inside for too long until I got emergency C section. My baby was left inside for almost 24 hours after the water broke and the baby swallowed a lot of meconium caused bacteria and infection on both me and the baby. As a result, she had a seizure from her brain’s infraction, was sent to NICU and stayed there for 3 weeks. This horrible experience tramarized us as parents, and caused us emotionally and financially.

Had a good surgery there but afterwards they billed me way more than any minimum insurance payments causing me many struggles. Also when calling back to verify if a payment went through months before they denied it but the bank and their statements shown a payment made

Took my daughter in for a fever of 104 she is 9 months old. Basically got told that there was absolutely nothing to be done and that I wasn't giving her enough Tylenol and ib profen. I have been alternating both even 3-4 hours for the past three days 3.5ml for Tylenol and 1.25 for ib profen which is the correct recommended dose. The doctor took a quick glance at my daughters ears and mouth and said we were good to go. My daughter was screaming and crying while we were waiting for discharge paper work as she was still running a fever of 102. As u can imagine we were in a big hurry to leave. After 30 minutes we still had no discharge paperwork and we had enough, we striped my child in her car seat and walked out the room door to find nurses at there desk talking and laughing as if they had nothing to do. We left the ER and came home. My daughter is still sick and if not any improvement tonight we will be heading to del norte hospital. Alamosa ER is the worst place for good care. Update! Took may daughter to doctor today and she has an ear infection way to go Alamosa ER!!!!!
