Story

Since 1998, Sanctuary Salon and Spa has provided quality service in a well-run, relaxing environment. Based in metro Atlanta, Georgia, our hair and beauty salon offers some of the most innovate cuts and styles available. Owners Mark DeMasso and Brent Upton have more than 35 years of combined professional experience in the hairstyling industry. Extraordinarily talented, their work has been featured in Jezebel®, Atlanta Bridal Magazine, and the Atlanta Jewish Times. They have styled hair for local and national newscasters at the Fox Network®, and their designs have been showcased in various international hair magazines. In May 2017 we welcome Dr. Markeita Banya DD MPAS PA to our new Med Spa Services.

I see Sue here to get my nails done. She always does an excellent job. I've brought in very few nail art designs that she couldn't imitate. When I have a problem with my nails between events she's happy to help me. The last time I broke a nail and had to come back in she wouldn't even let me tip her despite it being 100% my fault and not a problem with the original work.

Being new to town far away from my usual salon, I took a huge leap of faith coming here for a long to short hair transformation. I could not have been more pleased. Mark expertly tamed by unruly, curly locks into a cute bob that still looks great with no product or styling. Shout out to my curly haired girls who know the struggle--Sanctuary Salon and Spa's got you.

I am new to Sandy Springs and was looking around for a new salon to go to. After calling to make an appointment I was scheduled for an opening on the following day. Moments later I received a call from a cancellation and was able to come right in. I needed partial highlights and a serious trim. My hair took the color quicker than anticipated and instead of sending me out the door with a hair color slightly lighter than anticipated the problem was fixed before i needed to say anything. (I use the word problem loosely as the color was a bit lighter but I could hardly tell! but Maria was not going to accept anything but her best). The entire staff is friendly and I seriously look forward to my next cut/color. They also do facials, massages, and nails. I have a trip coming up soon and this will be the only place I'm going to before I go. I recommend this to everyone. They also provide you with beverages such as coffee, cappuccinos, hot tea, etc. Schedule your appt now!

I just love this place and so happy my friend recommend it to me! Maria cut my hair and did magic with the coloring. With only 36 I'm absolutely grey and had to color my hair every 3-4 weeks. Ever since I see Maria I manage to go without color 6-8 weeks! And I love my hair cuts too! She also cuts the hair for both of my boys (2 and 5 years old) and everybody compliments me how handsome they look. My husband surprised me with a massage for the mothers and it was amazing. Anne made me feel like a new person! After 1,5 hours I came out of the room and was absolutely relaxed like I didn't been before in a long, long time. Everybody is just so friendly there and I love every visit I go there. Can only highly recommend the salon!

I have been getting my hair cut and colored at the Sanctuary for 14 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. One of my new favorite features is the ease of appointment scheduling with online reservation. Choosing an appointment time based on seeing Brent's availability makes scheduling a breeze. Every time I leave I feel like a runway model. I highly recommend all of the services offered. No where else even compares.
