Just really really really sad that it's all going! I love malls and we need one in Galesburg and I'm very upset that JCPenney's leaving where are we going to shop now everything's going to have to go out of town how does that support our local businesses and our local area economy!!

Mall is closing. So sad! I can remember when the Sandburg Mall was a great place to shop! Pathetic how the previous owners have left the building fall into ruins! They should be ashamed of themselves

Bergners and JC Penney are the only stores worthwhile. It's virtually a ghost town.

It was very sad to see most stores closed for good.  I always shop JC Penney & Kmart,  now Kmart closed and Penney's soon will close.  I think this is wrong, people losing their jobs and now people must drive 50 miles or more to shop.  Our stores, Kmart and Penney's have closed in Macomb, Illinois.  It isnt always easy for us to drive that far.   Please please dont close jc Penney in Galesburg.
