I'm staying in the motel part and honestly its not that bad. Yes the place is run down, and yes it could be cleaner, and yes the stuff is outdated, but i haven't seen or found any bugs in my room so far, so that's a huge plus. The office was nice to me and got me a room quickly so my kids and i were off the street. They offer basic cable, the water is hot, and the heater in our room works fine. It's not fancy, but it puts a roof over my kids heads and gives them a place to sleep.

"Maitre D" was quite rude. Made me pay extra rent remote control for both TV and AC unit, unnecessarily. Towels were threadbare and i couldn't get any additional ones for my guest whom i paid extra money for their stay. Room quality was poor. Floor was sticky. Very small space inside room. This place was crawling with homeless people and druggies. Do not being your children here!

The manager is an evil woman for one. She seems nice one minute, and the next she flips out on you. As long as you pay your rent on time you can deal drugs or be a hooker, but don't be late or forget to pay that $5 remote fee, or you'll get kicked off the property. Of course that depends on what personality she has that day. Also, I'm pretty sure her maintenance man was a pedophile.

Sands Motel is a good place to stay it's cheap it might not be much but they make you feel welcome they have remodeled the rooms and if you have any problems with the room the maintenance man there is very nice and he will fix it right then and there in the staff there are very polite

U get what u pay for. Show me a less expensive place that's nice & I'll stay there. The lady in the front office was nice, I don't ask for much. Yes the room coulda been cleaner but after being homeless & moving around with my 3 kids so much it was nice to find a place that would help us.
