A tiny sandwich deli but packed with amazing selections. I had The Floridian and was very happy with its size and price. It ain't no Pub Sub but it stands on its own with great taste and identity. Highly recommended for anybody that's either a local or just passing though.
Great little sandwich spot. It was different from the last time I was there years ago but the TPC was great. Nice staff.
Walked in at lunch time with my two kids to get a few sandwiches and was told in a very rude tone that they were not taking any more orders because they were too busy. The staff looked overwhelmed. Not sure if the owner was there. I get it if you can’t handle busily time. Next time, if you are going to turn down business, at least be friendly and kind about it. It was pretty embarrassing walking out as if we did something wrong. I would not come back here again. I’m not one to post negative reviews either but maybe this one will help the business owner going forward.
Don’t come here if you’re expecting a typical New York style deli sandwich. Sandwiches are a step up from Subway, and no where close to Publix. Service was fine, no complaints there. Ordered the Guana New Yorker. Tasted fine. Minimal meat, good bun. Half a tomato slice for the entire sandwich. The location is awesome being so close to the beach, if they wanted to do better and give customers a better quality sandwich, they could.
My sandwich was good. The price was a reasonable. The only downside was an unappealing odor inside the restaurant. I am not sure what caused the odor, but I really did not want to eat inside the restaurant. The restaurant could enhance its appearance of cleanliness by cleaning the ceiling mounted a/c vents.
My boyfriend and I love this sandwich shop! It is a cute, small sandwich shop with the perfect food for a beach day. We love stopping here after trips to the beach. Their sandwiches and smoothies are delicious we have tried several different ones. This place is a little dated on the inside and could use some updates to the decor + a little cleaning, but the food is good. We didn’t experience any issues with the staff. We will continue coming here when we’re in Ponte Vedra.
BLT was great, I would definitely get it again. Unfortunately the vegetarian sandwich was really bad, I think it's called the Palm. So get anything but the veggie sandwich until they retool it. Great service.
Delicious! Cali was awesome. Say yes to the Peruvian Sauce...made locally. Kid-friendliness: Like the options. Came with drink, chips and a cookie! Kids loved it.
Ordered the steak sandwich. Came out perfect!! Bread was great. Meat was hot and fresh. I couldn't have asked for a better sub!!
Haven’t been to Sandwich Man Deli in years, but always loved it in the past. First experience back after taking a to-go order; a Turkey wrap, , kind of ruined it for me going back. I patiently waited for my wrap, while the young girls giggled and laughed and I didn’t think anything of it. I get home in Jax Beach and open my wrap and there is no Turkey in the wrap. We all make mistakes but then to call and get treated like I did is unacceptable. A young girl answered. I simply asked to speak to a manager. She first said “Why?”, I said “I just need to speak to a manager”, she then said “Tell me why?”, I said, “I simply just need to speak to your manager”, then she said, “why is there an issue?”, I then said “I need to speak to your manager” …. She proceeds to hand the phone off and says “This person is demanding that she speak to a manager.”. ** If this is the future of our country, rude, and no respect for an actual customer, we are in big trouble ** News flash, I wouldn’t call if there wasn’t an issue! The manager gets on and says I get 20 calls a day that’s telling …. And I share with him that the girls were laughing while I waited for my wrap and then I get home and have no Turkey in my wrap He said come back, but now I’m 10 miles away. He said come in again … and my thought was, “yeah right not after this experience”. Did not say sorry … very short with me and frankly didn’t handle a customer issue respectful, and then proceeded to hang up… I WONT BE BACK …. Sandwich Man Deli lost a customer today. Check your order before you leave … because it doesn’t seem they care one bit.
