Sandy's is a Westerly institution.  The deli counter is great. Sandwiches are delicious. Prepared food is tasty. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. Catering menu is a little weak & needs updating.  Too much pasta, not enough healthy choices. The grocery items provide an interesting variety but prices are high. Maybe this is because it is locally owned, not a national chain, so I like to support the store in spite of the pricing.

This place is amazing!! Not only do they have great produce, but their food is amazing!! My all-time favorite is the Red October grinder!! Never again will I go to some random grinder shop when a Sandy's sandwich or grinder is so delicious!! And they have a selection of salads and soups and take-home meals. If you're anywhere near it, and even a little hungry, please try this place. I swear you won't regret it!!

Their deli is first class, and the sandwiches, which are made to order, are excellent. Love Sandy's.

The food is great, as is the produce. The other patrons are not always so great.
