I got a ticket back in October. I paid my ticket as it said to on the citation and thought it was all taken care of. Fast forward to the end of January and I receive a notice in the mail for a notice of suspension on my driver's license due to failing to appear. I called mvd and they stated I should not have paid them, I should have paid Santa Fe municipal Court. I called municipal court 7 times before receiving a call back 2 weeks later. The court employee I spoke with was very polite so there is the 1 star. She explained that it wasn't my fault and it is something they are working on and that the judge would waive my reinstatement fee. Their system is down so she was unable to assist further today. I have to repay the ticket with them and it takes 2-3 days to completely process. Meantime I have to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund from the mvd and while the court is figuring out their system, I am sitting with a suspended license. I don't live in santa Fe so it isn't something I can stop in to take care of. The court should get their stuff taken care of. This is ridiculous.

This is the worst court house I have ever attended!! I had court, showed up and provided the correct documents and a month later I get a letter in the mail saying my license is suspended because I didn't show up to court!! Granted, they admitted their mistake, that doesn't make up for me having to take a day off work to correct all this and pay out of pocket to get my license reinstated. And also, it is now on my record that I had a suspended license when I did nothing wrong.

The most organized, unprofessional, court that I've witness. Special when it comes to being organized and they're paper work. Supposedly my court was at 9am. However, I was scheduled at 11am arrived at the court house @ 1030. They had 0 information on me!
