I broke my tooth the other day and was able to get right in to see Dr. Ferguson. The office staff was helpful and very caring. Dr. Ferguson calmed my nerves, evaluated my broken tooth and explained the treatment plan in detail to me. My tooth was fixed and I didn't experience any pain. Thank you Dr. Ferguson for your kind, professional demeanor. I will be back again and again.

Love this place, and so does my daughter!!! Its a clean modern office.. Front staff is great and very upbeat. The doctors and assistance are great!!! Very informative and explains things well. Also great that they have specialist in house and that I dont need to go to another office.. my daughter is comfortable with everyone in there..

Highly recommend Santee Smiles. Dr. Ferguson is so knowledgeable and very kind. She talked about the whole procedure beforehand and eased my mind. Normally going to the dentist gives me anxiety but she made the experience pleasant. Office staff was nice and the office was super clean.

I went to see Dr. Ferguson after 5+ years since I'd been to a dentist. The office was clean and professional and friendly. I was seen right away at the time of my appointment. As I suspected, I did have one cavity. Dr. Ferguson explained that because of the location of the cavity, there was a chance that I might need a root canal, but it wouldn't be clear until they had begun the process. She and the staff clearly explained my options and the cost involved for each option/possibility. They were also understanding of my schedule as well as my financial situation. It turned out that I did not need a root canal, so my cavity was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I expected some pain the next day, but I was fine! Now that I've found a good place to go, I'll be making my regularly scheduled appointments. :)

If you don't mind not having a choice when it comes to oral surgery/getting teeth pulled etc...and dont mind paying a bit more; then this place could work for you. One dental surgeon only available on 2 Thursdays/month. Atmosphere: clean and decent enough for dental office. The x-ray tech/ assistant was my favorite. Sweet girl, a bit nervous because I think is new but did her job quickly and well. Communicated well. The dentist was friendly and explained almost everything well....had a misunderstanding that could have been someone else's fault. Not sure who was responsible for explaining my options for oral surgery. I need a wisdom tooth extracted, or all four but can only afford the one I've had pain with. The administrative woman that explained the finance of it to me (used pull down menus and trying to upsell) was condescending and confusing. I didn't have money for all four as we looked at the itemized list (glad they have it but it's like she didn't want me actually paying attention). I estimated $600 for total for one and she chucked and said "no, not necessarily " the was akward when it came out to $614. She rushed me through the process of getting an appointment with the surgeon, said "he doesn't do local" to the dentist earlier but didn't discuss this with me, when I asked if I was to get nitrous oxide or what she just said I'd need to talk with surgeon on appt. I DIDN'T KNOW she just definitively signed me up for general anesthesia (mid-high level RISK for my health.... ) she specified for my situation (last minute appointment) the cancellation fee "didn't really apply" to me since I didn't know if I could get a babysitter. I wish I had called the day in between....because I fasted for nothing and wasted my time and like a loser paid the $100 cancellation FEE. I researched options for the removal and realised I only want to use local anesthesia as I have health issues my dr. still hasn't diagnosed... issues that could be easily made worse with general anesthesia. It's simply much safer when using local. And less expensive. In check in I say I only want local anesthesia and the administration woman I saw before says I can talk with the dentist...he only does general. So I wait a few minutes and realise there is only one surgeon, so if he isn't going to do local I have to leave. I ask to make sure and that's that. So I tell them why I need to cancel and the administration woman says I have to pay the $100 because he already ordered the general (which sounds like bull crap AND not my fault when I thought I had options). My husband was there to drop me off and got pissed as was I but I was more hungry and thirsty at the time I think. LOL So we gave in and just paid them $100. At lea st not $614 and not $300 or whatever it was for the general anesthesia. I haven't been in pain since two days ago so I figure it's worth going to someone else who WILL LISTEN to their patients and not only give one more EXPENSIVE more DANGEROUS option.
