While many of the people are nice, this is NOT a synagogue. It's a very large Messianic Christian church, whose leadership has gone to great lengths to convince unknowing people that they're Jews as a very dishonest missionizing tactic. They are also trying to start a movement called "Lapid," where Messianic churches like them pretend to be Orthodox Jews to make converts of local Jewish communities (theis is not to be confused with the overseas Jewish group also called Lapid)... Overall, a place to avoid if you're interested in Judaism and dont want to get lied to every Shabbos. ____________________ These are Fort Worth's real Jewish synagogues - all of them great communities: * Ahavath Sholom (Conservative) * Chabad of Ft. Worth (Hasidic) * Beth El Temple (Reform). There are also many synagogues in north Dallas and Plano area, of various denominations. All the kosher restaurants in the metroplex and the big kosher grocery stores are in Dallas as well, while Fort Worth's selections is much smaller and limited mostly to Trader Joe's (for meat) and Tom Thumb, etc. along Hulen Street. Shalom all.

Love it. If you're looking for truth and spirit for accuracy and Biblical intention, wow this is the place. The worship team are like Rock stars. The worship is beautiful. The liturgy done by the person representing the high priest is on point. The drashes or understanding of how to live out Gods word is accurate and resourceful or full of resources. Not all will join but they are invited.

This has been my congregational home for many years. I can not say enough good things about Sar Shalom. The teaching is amazing, in depth and enlightening. Rabbi Mordecai teaches using and referencing the sources while adding humor. I love the worship, the reading from the Torah, blessing the children and so much more. The people are warm and friendly. I am convinced that you could meet your new best friends here... i did ! Come be a part of Lapid and Yeshua centered Judaism!
