Story

Betsy grew up riding horses on her family’s ranch in Southern Arizona. In her successful show career, she competed Huntseat at the National Level. In addition, Betsy was head wrangler at a Wyoming ranch for four years. She also trained therapy horses for Epona Equestrian for four years and taught therapeutic riding classes for disabled children.

Our experience with Sarabande Riding Club was wonderful! I wish I could give 10 stars for the rating. While visiting family over spring break,  my 5 year old daughter took riding lessons on Pocket, their very gentle and patient pony.  Betsy, the owner and instructor was extraordinary.  She is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and personable. Betsy engaged my daughter at her experience level, and the growth in confidence was remarkable after a few short lessons.   I especially loved how appropriate care and communication with the pony was emphasized throughout the lessons.  Betsy encouraged as much independent handling of the pony as appropriate for an inexperienced 5 year old rider. We felt at home during our time at Sarabande and look forward to our next visit!

My daughter has been going there for a while now and she just loves it, everyone is so nice and the horses are just wonderful... my daughter is hopefully going to be going here for a long time for lessons
