The food was great, I had a steak sandwich and my steak was exactly medium, tender, and tasty! My niece had the chicken and my dad the club. The French fries were excellent and their ranch dressing was homemade and delicious! Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Our overall opinion is high and our recommendation, resounding!! Try Sarge's Shack, you'll love it!

AMAZING! I evacuated from Florida from hurricane Irma and stayed at the Motel 6 across the street from this fabulas little joint.
 I have a family of 6 and with all the traveling and fast food and junk food eating, we were in the mood for some real food!!
 Especially some BBQ right from TN! I walked across the street with my son and asked for a menu to place our order. I kept asking questions to the hostess about their food, what would be my best bet with feeding a handful. She was very pleasant, very helpful and very patient with what my concerns were. She steered me in the right direction and I placed the order and waited 20mins until pick up time. When I arrived back I went to the pick up window with my credit card in hand waiting to pay and then cashier said "No" and pointed to the hostess, saying it was on her!!
I was speechless, I was shocked and I didnt know what to say!!! I gave her a BIG hug and a huge THANK YOU!!! 
Not only was the customer service was above and beyond, the food was just as amazing too!!
Fall off the bone ribs, the best chicken fingers we ever had and the salad dressing and the mac and cheese wonderful too!!
Thanks so much for such a memorable experience, we will make another stop there when we go back to TN for sure!!

Good place for a restaurant..Steak was under cooked and rice was over cooked...Don't ask for onion ....you'll Never get it!!  Tea tasted old...

OMG,.. this was the best place we have tried in a while! Their fried green tomatoes were the bomb, along with the dipping sauce,.. we ordered the catfish and the steak sandwich, both cooked to perfection!  Our service was great, the place does have an older feel to it,.. but it's how they have made it,.. that old country feeling. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s ;) driving back to Nashville fully satisfied.
