BEWARE: THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. They got my order wrong AND tried to double charge me for extra chicken. Refused to give my extra chicken without a receipt that THEY REFUSED TO PROVIDE. I ordered teriyaki chicken double meat double sauce, and when I asked for them to give me or reprint my receipt to show I had already paid for it they refused to produce or print it but continued asking me to pay for food I had already ordered and paid for and in the end did not give it to me. Their excuse was “the cashier is new”. They have zero respect for their customers.
I used to love this food court spot a few years ago. Today I came expecting it to be good but everything in my beef and shrimp combo tasted like mush. The fried rice was wet, and the meat had no flavor and was very chewy. Maybe it would have been better if there were any noticable spices or sauces added to the meat/seafood. Won't be coming to this location for a while unless some future reviews are able to sway me.
Everything is still really fresh, but the cook was a bit sloppy with my order. I got the same thing as my friend, in the same order, and mine was about 70% as full or less. My vegetables were less than half of the side cup in a to-go box and I had far less noodles. Still much better than the terrible food being dried out under heat lamps in the places across the food court.
The guy handling food had gloves on and them would get on his phone. Phones are super gross. Then without changing his gloves would go back to touching the food. also the guy at the end was refusing to give more that 2 sauce packets for a whole plate.
Food ok the chicken great the guy doing the vegetables was terrible they had plus they have no broccoli I wouldn’t recommend
Terrible place. They won't let you order noodles and rice at the same time. Rude af. And honestly the food compared to other sarku Japan's is absolutely garbage. The girl running the register gives rude looks and is obviously only rude towards white men
I payed $8 to get 2 sides of noodles and they serve so little! Not asking to fill the whole entire box but at least a decent serving for what im paying!!! I also payed for extra chicken and same thing was def not extra portion looked regular! I say this because back then I couldn’t even close my tray w the extra chicken! Not going back again!!!
Sarku Japan has been the most popular food spot inside the Park's Mall for years. The line can get long, but the wait never takes too long, and I promise it's worth it. Their specialty is the teriyaki chicken. It comes with white rice, fried rice or noodles. They also have beef & shrimp, but stick with the chicken. Add on an egg roll or spring roll, and you will walk away full. Great prices & huge portions are also what make this place a crowd pleaser. The only knock might be their drinks. Next time you are at the mall, give Sarku a try. You won't be disappointed!
I love this food. Best chicken teriyaki I have ever had, and best food court meal I have ever tasted. There is a reason their business has stuck around. They have great food. I even got my brother addicted to it, and he is a picky eater.
