My family just moved here and one of our biggest worries was finding a hairdresser for our daughter. We searched around and weren't able to find any providers that were reliable enough to depend on. We made an appointment here and got seen ten minutes early. As soon after we made introductions she was off to work, making our baby girls beautiful hair shine. She goes all natural, which isn't easy to maintain. Danielle provided her with a number of awesome tips to maintain her hair between visits. We found our hairdresser!

This review is primarily on service when attempting to set an appointment as a new potential customer. I should note, I'm new to the bay area, and I'm always happy to support a black business (we have to help each other out). But bad service is bad service, how would she have treated me once I got there?!:
I called the number listed on google after finding them on yelp. The women simply answered...
HER: "hello" and sounded agitated. 
ME: I'm sorry I think I have the wrong number, I'm trying to call sassy black hair care"
HER: You have the right number....(silence)"
ME: Is this not a good time? You don't sound like your in a good mood I was thinking about making an appointment. I was confused because I was expecting to hear you say the name of the company. 
HER: I'm fine, not everyone answers the phone in the same way. You can't expect that, this is my personal phone.

NOTE: STILL HASN"T ASKED ME IF I'D LIKE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OR HOW SHE CAN HELP ME.--

ME: Ok,  well I was looking to set an appointment but you haven't even offered me to, thats unprofessional. I'll go somewhere else.
Her: "Fine.( Hangs up)"

How do you plan to stay in business?! At any point in that conversation, she could have said "Oh, yes, you have the right place, do you want to set an appointment? Or yeah, I work off my personal phone, its gets tricky, but I'm happy to get you on the books." ANYTHING. Its called customer service and its a key component of running a business big or small.

I hope you and your colleagues take this as an opportunity to improve your business, because you just lost mine.
