The teachers are super sweet and also challenge you to be the best you can be and try to get you to think harder. You can also tell the teachers care alot about the students more than most teachers in the schools I've been in. I've been to 4 middle schools and 3 high schools from being a military child and out of all of the schools I've been to Satellite is my favorite because the teachers have more compassion for what they're doing and for the students as well. The students may be stupid but the teachers and staff are the best ever!! :)

Terrible drug problem. Also very impedes on freedom of expression. The dress code is very strict and it is not an lbgtq friendly school. They do have a good performing arts program though

Nice neighborhood. I'm sure improved now as far as sexist attitude of who could do what as far as careers and class availability.Was there in early-mid 70s. Looks quite larger. Good teachers. Lots of $. Great athletic dept. Modern updated books at the time. Hopefully better counselors now. I enjoyed it. Lots of career minded students. Great part of parents were involved. Surfers were a blast and beautiful. Kids aware of environment,kind and caring ,most were healthy and strong. Fun parties good food. Wonderful ocean breeze.
There will always be the stoners and a teacher that may not be quite right but it's a great school and FL has done a great over haul on their education system and are paying teachers better. We want good teachers..pay them or we lose them. I agree with other positive comments posted. Again, the costal beach guys...beautiful!!! I thank A1A.

My friends goes to there, after reviewing the yearbook, I could tell they have good programs in this school.
