Pedicab with the Blue shirts are great for transportation around town! Visiting Savannah with an elderly (83 yrs young) Mother can be challenging with all the walking. We had just arrived this afternoon and wanted to see a bit before retiring for the evening. After dinner on River St. we were going to take a horse and carriage ride. Problem # 1, no transportation from River St to Bay St to meet up with a carriage ride. I called Pedicab to see if one could meet us on Bay St. in 15 mins. (Assuming it would take that long to walk up.) Mike was already waiting for us! He took us down to the Hyatt and we found we would have to wait 40 mins for the next carriage. Mom was getting tired so while debating what to do, Mike offered to give us a short 30-45 min mini guided tour ending at the hotel! I thought that was awesome , and Mom was very appreciative! She just sat back and enjoyed the ride. Mike was very informative and gave us a nice tour. Even stopped at CVS for us so I could run in for something! The pedicab drivers work for tips! ( i was told give them about $1 / per block you are taken) He asked for $35, we thought it was as well worth it and less than the carriage ride for 2. It was hot out there tonight and thats a lot of work peddling us around! We will call him again if we need another ride during our stay! Thanks Mike we really enjoyed the ride!😊

We visited Savannah the week of April 17. It is a beautiful city. We took the on/off trolley to view many of the wonderful, historic homes and lovely tree-lined streets. One day we wanted to visit one of the historic homes that was not on our tour. (I had purchased the tickets online.) When we spoke to the person at the desk at Marshall House to order a cab, he suggested we try Pedicab and we said ok. Very shortly we met Dan at the corner near Marshall House. We are so very glad that Dan was our driver. He was very nice and knew quite a bit about the architecture of homes in the area—very interesting. He was available again when we came out, which was a blessing. The next day we called and requested him again to go to the river front area for the dolphin boat ride. Unfortunately, when we were ready to leave that area, my husband thought we could walk back. I not only have a bad back, but a very painful left knee/leg, so walking too much is painful. By the time we got back to the hotel, I wished we had called Pedicab. My husband also did because I was pretty grumpy from the pain! Thanks to Dan for helping to make our Savannah visit more enjoyable! I have recommended him and Pedicab to friends who may be visiting in the future. Joan Peay Nashville, TN
