Story

The veterinarians and staff of Savannah Veterinary Internal Medicine & Intensive Care are an experienced, compassionate and optimistic veterinary health care team who specialize in diagnosing and treating dogs and cats with chronic, debilitating, and often life-threatening diseases.

Our team consists of board-certified veterinary specialists in internal medicine as well as registered veterinary technicians. Our optimistic outlook for every patient’s recovery and compassionate approach to veterinary medicine is apparent in everything we do. We are passionate about our jobs and dedicated advocates for our patients. We consider our practice the first stop in our patient’s recovery, not the last stop on a long path of chronic or debilitating illness.

Our facility offers state-of-the-art medical equipment not found in any other facility in Coastal Georgia or the neighboring South Carolina region. Our training and expertise using this advanced equipment gives us the ability to diagnose illnesses in patients that have previously gone undiagnosed.

Our facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a veterinarian and staff on site at all times. Our specialists are directly involved in all of our patient’s treatment decisions every day that they are hospitalized.

Our optimism, training, experience and access to specialized equipment and a 24-hour facility gives us the ability to help our patients, many of which have been previously given a poor prognosis.
