I've gone to several Save-a-Lots. The location off Southwest in the hill was the best! Very clean, well stocked. Great, SUPER, prices! Fantastic meat quality and savings.

Good prices on grocery staples. Be aware that you need to bring your own bags or pay for them at this location .

I love save a lot. If youve been shopping at places like Schnucks and Dierbergs for years, you will probably think there was an error in pricing. But stuff is really that cheap. They have some name brands like some cereals, carnations breakfast and Mountain Dew. They also have virtually every product you want, its just sold under a different name brand. If you've never been there, give them a shot. I think you may have a new grocery store. I go to thw one on Southwest and Macklind, there's another one at I believe Morgan Ford and Germania/Carondelet.  I didn't like the Aldi near Kingshighway and Gravois. It was crowded, dirty, and their food is worse. You will have none of those problems at save a lot.

I've always enjoyed shopping here. Very pleasant atmosphere among with pleasant workers.

Even shopping late when they are trying to stock shelves, tidy the store and what ever needs done at the end of the night they staff was still friendly and very helpful.
