I give this place 5 stars. I like the people who work there. One lady that I think was magnificent,  I think her name was Anna,  she was such a doll! I think Save A Lot on Andrews ave should give Anna a raise for her fantastic help to Save a  lot

Low-grade produce but occasional good deals on grocery products. Inattentive and not friendly staff.

I go there for most of my groceries. Sometime the veggies are  bad, so I go elsewhere or go back on the day they get the fresh ones. I like it.

Read the name, cause it's definitely a true statement. If you like Aldi's you should like save- a- lot. They're both open box shelved groceries. They both have quirky off name brands. They both have items that disappear the next time you go. The differences I see are, more meat at Save-a-lot, more frozen fish at Aldi's. Save a lot has a ghetto reputation, Aldi's has (an unearned and inexplicable) elitist reputation. I usually go to save a lot much more than Aldi's. Save a lot has great deals on meat, Aldi's meats are minimal and uninteresting. You can't go wrong with save a lot.
