Joan in meats was exceptional help ..bless her. 
However long line ups of big orders. ..lack of  tills usual  but lights on.  I absolutely refuse to serve myself and buy bags at today's high prices . This is not a discount store but acts like one.
Cleanliness of  store appreciated as well as courtesy at front desk.

Usually I have no issues with this place, but the "service" I received today was appalling and I will not be returning. After exiting with my groceries, I noticed two small dogs in distress, panting; they were in a gold Cadillac and it was running with all the windows up--it's 35 out, very hot and sunny. I then returned to the store with two other concerned patrons, asking them to page the car owner and alert them to the situation. The insolent man-child at "Customer Service" snickered and sneered at me, rolled his eyes and walked away!  Another employee nearby told me to go call the police; I explained I didn't have my cell on me, told her to call and asked to speak with the Manager. Then another employee finally gets on the PA system, but not before arguing with me that the customers might be at Shoppers (the car was parked right outside Save On). Finally, a Manager arrives, but he's also pretty dense, insisting the air con is probably on and not to worry. Regardless, it's still negligent, if not illegal to leave a car running idly while you go shopping for an hour and he has no idea what the temperature is inside the locked vehicle. He promised to follow-up, but I felt dismissed. They were all completely unprofessional and I didn't appreciate being ridiculed, when just trying to help...hope those dogs are still alive.

This is a good grocery store offering many locally sourced products like fruits and vegetables. There are really good prepared foods as well.

The prices are higher but I always liked that it wasn't like super store or walmart.   As weird as it sounds I disagree with having to pay for bags when buying products from a store.  I believe they should give you the bags to carry your products out with. At least provide boxes!  Now that I have to pay for bags here i will shop costco instead. next you will be bagging your own groceries.
