Great food and good customer service. Very nice place on the corner of Broadway near downtown San Antonio. Parking can be a little hard to get or could be about $12 an hour in one of the available parking lots or if you are lucky you may be able to get curbside parking with a meter. Also called La Boulangerie
La Boulangerie is hands down our favorite Bakery in SA. Not the fanciest pastries in town, but their baguette is by far the most flavorful with great texture. And all of the baked goods are top notch. Crepes are one of our favorites, and the sandwiches are always great. The cravette is my favorite pastry there, but you really can't go wrong.
Ordered a bouche de Noel, originally exotic fruits because that’s all that was left according to Sylvie, the insanely rude lady who takes the orders over the phone. Went the day before pick up and was told that a chocolate bouche was available. That btw was after I was told our order wasn’t logged, probably another Sylvie blunder. Came in today to pick it up, the price was literally twice what Sylvie quoted on the phone, and got home to find that they in fact had given us the exotic one not the chocolate. Spoke with Sylvie on the phone, she said it was “impossible” that the price was misquoted because apparently she’s never made a mistake in her life according to her. She then went on to say that maybe her French accent was hard to understand. I speak fluent French. I also know there are people who embody negative stereotypes and that’s exactly how Sylvie is. Will never order anything from here again.
I was just walking downtown when I came upon this place. I always wanted to try macarons and I ended up buying a box of them with one of each flavor. I shared it with my family when I got home and they all loved it! Owner is very nice and I hope to try the lunch menu at some point. But yes, merci La Boulangerie for making such a tasty treat and scratching something off of my food bucket list. Oh I am keeping the box for other purposes, it's so pretty!
It was my first time here and first time for French food as well. I was quite pleased with this place. Food was very good and was explained to me by the server who had excellent skills and great smile. The atmosphere was good for a date or business meeting. Portions were good sized and prices are just. I will be back when I visit San Antonio again.
We were on a visit to San Antonio and just happened upon this place. Quaint spot with excellent French food. We had breakfast and the croissant and French Toast were amazing. We also purchased a baguette and a loaf of sour dough bread. Prices were also good! Will definitely come here again if we visit San Antonio again!

A five star Parisian restaurant in San Antonio. With an authentic menu, the food is as good as a meal you would have in Paris. Credit to an amazing chef who has has a superb menu,with every dish meticulously cooked to perfection. Elegant environment with casual food. A great hidden gem!
Authentic french bakery with a more local feel. A lot more chill than some of the other french bakeries closer in downtown. Come here if you want a relaxing environment and authentic food, plain and simple.
