This is the third time I've been here. Each time the wait staff was horribly rude and incompetent. Today however our waitress was okay, the owner/hostess was instantly rude to me and my girlfriend upon entering. Moving her hands like she was directing traffic to have us come inside and close the door which was open for all of about 4 seconds. We sat down and began ordering. I got chicken croquettes and my girlfriend got roast beef.

Now, I have worked in restaurants my entire life, as a sound chef. I understand the struggle, and I AM NOT a complainer. After asking if the seafood was frozen ( all of it is ) I decided to get the chicken. When both of our meals came back, we just were not happy with them. Like I said I am not a complainer, and on top of that I'll eat anything. This I could not eat. Which is fine. I simply waited for our server to come ask if we we're okay, and when she did I stated "I'm really sorry to be a pain in the ass but we don't like the food, is there any way we can get something to split and just have these dishes taken off the check?" The waitress said she would see what she could do. 5 seconds later the traffic lady that I saw when I first got there came to the table. She made us feel uncomfortable for not liking the food, telling us that "everyone likes the roast beef" so I said "if we don't like the food, then what do you expect us to do?" She said "are you telling me you don't like my recipes?" This is the thing lady. Do not dispute with customers whether the food is good or not it's a matter of opinion... And then to honestly say to your customer to leave and that you aren't serving us after that is just an embarrassment. She should be ashamed of herself. What sort of restaurant owner makes customers feel uncomfortable. We could not have been more polite. I will not be comming back there ever again after today. Good day to you all. If you want to be miserable when you go out to eat, go to savilles!!

Food is alright. It's a nice old fashioned restaurant clean and neat. They are cash only there is an ATM in the lobby.  They limit your drinks cups are small.   Definitely not a place to sit for Wi-Fi purposes.

This is a family oriented restaurant. I go to all the time. Good menu's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Pretty good diner food! Service is always good too. The only issue is that they don't accept credit cards...cash only.

My experience was terrible (as per usual). Surprisingly the waitress was under the age of 60 years old. Unlike any other time we've been in savilles which is pretty damn often being that we live in boyertown. Walking into the door this time I was rushed by the owner to get in the door and close it!! I shrugged it off because i work in kitchens and i know things can get hectic. We sat and the young waitress was surprisingly very kind beings that they never are our past experiences. First off, ALL of the seafood they have is FROZEN. Secondly, the waitress was not educated at all of the food. She had to run back and ask if it was fresh or frozen. My boyfriend ordered chicke croquettes (his favorite) and i ordered roast beef w brown gravy  off of diner specials because I thought it was a good deal. NOW I KMOW WHY IT WAS SO CHEAP. A CAN OF ROAST BEEF ONLY COSTS LIKE $.50. The gravy was congealed by the time it reached my table. The roast beef tasted like it was for dogs and i wouldn't even feed my dog that. He may get sick. And my boyfriend hated the chicken croquettes said they tasted weird so i took a bite and it tasted like meow mix from the can and salmon flavored!! So very kindly we told the waitress we didn't like it and maybe e could get something else to share. She took the food away and the owner approached our table with "so what you didn't ike my food" and kindly I said "the taste wasn't right and it was all very mushy" and she took the check stormed away and said "then don't come back again" mind you that was in front of about 6 other paying customers. Working in the food business, definitely not what I expected. So i paid what I did eat and left. Just a heads uo to anyone who thinks this place is good and "homeade food" it isnt. And that now explains to me why 98% of clientelne and staff should be in a home!! That food isn't low enough for the dogs to eat sorry Rita!!! @saville'ssucks !!!!!
