Great location with basic accommodations, nothing fancy but it's across from the beach! =)

Direct access to two of the greatest beaches on Lake Superior. Super scenic large stone pebble beach nestled in large raw rock cliffs. On the south end of the point is a large classic sand beach. We are repeat customers. The accommodations are good value, clean and comfortable. The owner has been continuously renovating and adding amenities though we can't wait for better food options in the area or on-site. A nice little vacation spot. Nothing too fancy ... until you hit the beach!

I can't speak for the motel itself, but the bay is gorgeous and well worth the drive from either direction.

It's a nice motel which is close to the beach and I believe a few camping grounds and parks. Although it is pretty much the bare minimum of what a motel service should provide, it is a convenient place nontheless.

Pros: Very cheap Clean(ish) Close to Pancake Bay and Lake Superior Provincial Park Cons: Somewhat neglected Motel grounds are home to junk piles, RV trailers and assorted equipment Disorganized owners (make double sure they accepted and wrote down your reservation) Bare minimum cabins, kitchen cabinets without doors, etc. Bottom line, it's ok and it's cheap. Just don't expect much.
