When I was a child, my mother on the occasion when we were good, would make us fried bologna and egg sandwiches. So when I looked at the reviews and saw they had fried bologna, I just had to come! Much to my surprise they have a special breakfast fried bologna sandwich with eggs melted cheddar on sourdough! Off the hook! Sitting there reminiscing about my mother making me the exact same sandwich when I was a child while listening to Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby. Really brought me back to those days. I also had the fries, which are perfect whole skin fries cut thin fried to perfection. I couldn't finish it. Can't wait to come back and try their other sandwiches.

I ordered the Bacon Cheddar cheeseburger with all the fixings! This thing did not disappoint!  I wanted something big and greasy!  The fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection.  If you’re in town, it’s a must go!  It was recommended by locals and I see why!

My wife, son and I originally had stopped down the block to eat at another restaurant, but it ended up having such horrible service that we left. Sax was our original first choice though,  but we came to the other restaurant first so we stopped there. We are so glad that we left and came to Sax!!  Cannot say enough good things about Sax!!  The owner took out orders at the front counter and she was gem…personable and funny and spunky!   The service was amazing, as we received our orders within 5 to 7 minutes. my son and I had the Cuban sandwiches, which were awesome! And my wife had the ham and cheese panini, which was also great!  It has a great diner kind of atmosphere which we all loved.  We will definitely go back!!  Highly recommended!!

My friend took me here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised about how nice it is. The dining area is immaculately clean as well as the outside and smells so good. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, helping me make the perfect selection.  I had the Club Panini, small fries, and water. I enjoyed the food and it was very good. The fries and sandwich were warm and tasty. I will definitely be back again and recommend it to anyone.

First time visiting Sax Grille. Excellent spicy blue cheese burger and fries. They said the blue cheese and hot sauce was made in house. Signature fries were quite good. The price was more than reasonable. I will definitely be back.  Wheelchair accessibility: Has an easy incline ramp to the door and wide lanes between tables.

Nothing makes me happier than trying somewhere new to eat and having zero complaints! This place is clean, well run and easy on the wallet  On top of all that, the food was Amazing! Total surprise honestly. I got the Cheese Steak sandwich…not one piece of fat at all! Wonderfully made and had me wanting more. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that I was too full to have a reason to stay!!!

My man loooves a bologna & cheese sandwich and when I saw Sax Grille sells them, I had to take him. The restaurant is very clean and the woman who took our order was very nice. Since my man dosen't care for tomato and lettuce, the woman offered the bologna with cheddar cheese and sunny side up egg... and his extra mayo messy. I just wanted fresh hand-cut fries. As you can see in the pics... he loved his messy sandwich and wouldn't wait to get home to eat it. The fries were soooo goood! I don't know what type of seasoning they put on the fries, but it definitely was Lowery's seasoning salt... it was BETTER!!! Those fries were addictive!

Last week I had the Biscuit and Gravy and today I had the Garden Goat, delicious!  I'll be back to try something new!  Inside is very clean and service was quick, coffee was good too!

This place is definitely on the pricey side. Staff is very friendly. Place is quaint. Drove past it 100 times and never noticed it. Went with coworkers who highly recommended it. First time the food was amazing, though the fries leave a lot to be desired. Burgers are decent size, great flavor. First time I had the Buffalo blue cheese burger and it was out of this world. The second time I got the same thing and it was just okay. Their fries are natural, similar to 5 guys, but they're really small, like really, really small and very salty.

What a great place! The staff was so professional and polite! The atmosphere is great! Annnd the food is super good!!!!  This place started on Carson Drive in a much smaller building and has now moved to its current location. I’m really happy they did and I can only hope they are getting the attention they deserve!  Although I usually give 4 stars to leave room for improvement, I have to give Sax Grille 5 big ole’ gold stars!! They deserve it! Go check this place out and bring your appetite!!
