It was a fun visit, never been before. Mostly went just to see the themed areas and the haunts, had not interest in rides. The themed areas I thought were pretty good lots of awesome decorations and fog and staff hiding in the dark ready to jump out. I thought Clown Town could have done more though. Blood Bayou by far had the largest line and looked like it had the highest budget. Caved In was the only one that got a legit jumps care out of me as I missed a corner lurker. Planet Zombie was fun but not especially scary despite being a 5. The 3D one was really fun. Skipped total darkness because didn't see the point. Unfortunately most of the scares boil down to people hiding and jumping out. The haunts are kind of fast moving so you don't really ever build up tension and atmosphere you just check every corner for someone hiding there to jump out which legit got me twice but the rest I saw coming. Anyway good fun, glad I saw it but not entirely sure it's worth 4 hours each way driving plus gas and an overnight stay in a motel, its quite an expense and not THAT great. But if I lived closer i'd probably go again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Scarywood! I'll take a haunted theme park over a haunted house any day. Only complaint is that Scarywood has become so popular that there almost aren't enough attractions for the attendance. They either need to lower the ticket sale limit per night, add more haunts, or open more rides. I'd say keep the park open longer but on Friday and Saturday nights it's open till 1am. It's hard to get through all of the attractions depending on the night and which time of the month you go. Oh well, not getting through everything is just an excuse to go again I guess! Can't wait for October!!

I would have given it a 5 but they replaced the train ride with the zombie planet. It wasn't scary or even entertaining. Kind of a disappointing experience. I liked the train better.

Of all the theme parks I have been to this is one that has a lot to offer you just have to break the layout down and do things according to your comfort and endurance level. I will say my favorite rides are panic plunge and riptide racer.. They are worth the wait.

Zombie apocalypse funhouse was the best went through with my kid and she was getting scared so we made finger guns and pretend to shoot everything scary some of the zombie actors even pretended to get there faces shot in which was awesome! thanks to them for being good sports....remeber though these costumed employees are people too they can only be mocked and made fun of so much so be cool and keep it light hearted don't say messed up stuff to leather face of steal a clowns nose.... not cool.
