If you're a local, it's probably a great place.  Otherwise, try another garage.  Two years ago when my state inspection expired and I wanted to schedule that with them, they never got back to me with a time.  Most recently,  I left a flat tire to be repaired.  It was in the shop from 12:30-5:00. When I called at 3:00, it still hadn't been looked at.  When I called at 4:50, no one answered so I assume the shop was closed.  They closed early the day before as well.   When I called at 8:15 the next morning, the tire was plugged but not patched, a temporary repair at best according to a national tire center where I had the repair redone and was in-and-out the door in 20 minutes.  Shadle's claimed there were no openings that day to put the tire on the car, so with a big snow storm coming, I took it elsewhere.  I know it is a small shop, but the service makes me wonder whether I would have been treated differently had I originally been from around here.

Definitely a great place that wont scam you when you know nothing about cars.

I love this place! I, like the rest of my family, have been going to Schadel's for years. I have never had a bad experience with them. It is a great family owned garage that really takes personal experience to heart. They can do everything from auto service to body work, even motorcycle inspections. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
