I could have bought a new car with all the money I paid this firm to do my taxes and when they didn't catch a $55,000 drop in income from 2014 to 2015 they wouldn't accept any responsibility for missing a W-2.

At first glance, this seemed like a great place to go for my business taxes. I am a brand new business owner and this was my first year. I'm sad to say how disappointed I am in the service I was provided. There was very poor communication with the person I worked with, responses taking 5-10 days and they waited until the day before the deadline to send me the information I needed for my estimated tax payments, expecting I was able to get them in on time myself. Well, I did, however they didn't do their part. There was a "miscommunication" and my 2011 taxes didn't get filed correctly, needless to say I now have a document from the IRS with late penalties etc. I have been told they will try to get the penalties taken care of etc, but even so, I am upset that I am now on the IRS radar as someone who doesn't pay on time.
