About Scherbarth Ace Hardware
Scherbarth Welding was founded as a construction business in 1952 by Ted and Grant Scherbarth. We were selling industrial items like bearings, seals, and steel. Then in 1991 we added Ace Hardware to our corporation. We now have a full line of plumbing, electrical, hardware, paint, lawn and garden, and lumber.
We started with 6,000 square feet and the store grew to 24,000 square feet plus lumber buildings.
While the merchandise may have changed and the store has grown, the commitment to be the best neighborhood hardware store in the market remains.
Our team at Scherbarth Ace Hardware strives to have products to do large and small jobs, whatever you may need for the homeowner, contractor, or business.
We intend to be the "Helpful Hardware Place" growing and improving with the Fairbury area. Our employee partners and loyal customers are our most important rewards in doing business in Fairbury.
