We come all the way from North Carolina when we visit West Point to eat and have a fantastic meal thanks Neil for a great atmosphere and great food. And don't forget about the Cigar Bar. We appreciate the warm welcome every time we come in.

VERY DISAPPOINTED after last nights meal!!! Although the service was very good, the meal was an utter and complete disappointment. My fiancee and I were in the mood for steak and I suggested Schlesingers as I hadn't been there in several years but remember it being a good steakhouse. Last night was embarrassing as I felt like an idiot for suggesting we go there. I ordered the 24 oz Porterhouse and asked for it to be done medium and verified with the waitress that it would be pink throughout. It came medium-well as the center was the only pink section AND there was NO FILET attached to the t-bone!!!! The best part is they didn't have a price on the menu and charged me $59.00 for it!!! I paid $59 for a strip that was in no way 24oz!!! When I mentioned the missing filet, I was informed it's not guaranteed with the 24oz!!!! IF YOU'RE CHARGING SOMEONE $59.00 FOR A STEAK, IT SHOULD BE COMPLETE AND THE WAY YOU WANT IT!!! What a let down.

They have an ad in Saturday's paper September 2 featuring their shore dinner, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, after driving 43 miles to get there, on Tuesday, September 5th, they said that was over on Labor Day. No apologies or anything and the owner was hidden from clear sight. We were fortunate to find an outstanding restaurant less than 2 miles from there, called Citrus. Outstanding food, outstanding service and half the price. As for Chef, graduate of the culinary Institute of America, that is no way to deal with your customer. Well, I am no longer a customer. Shame on you!!!!!

Unfortunately the restaurant portion of the establishment was closed. However, the food was very good. The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet cigar and whiskey.
