This is an extremely clean grocery store. I was very impressed with their organization and the layout of the place. They have great customer service. The only negative thing I would say about Schnucks is that their prices could be lower. Other than that, you'll have a great shopping experience if you try it

It's always clean and orderly. The cashiers are all very helpful. Luv the store but prices are a bit high. Unfortunately Schmucks is really the only grocery store on this side of town. They also need more than 2 electric scooters, whenever I go there and there isn't one, I must leave because I can't walk the aisle to shop. That has happened on many occasions. But, I do like the store.

Helpful staff. Will open more checkout when lines get longer. I eat salad bar a few times a week. GREAT wings and hot fried chicken. Lottery available. Fine store.

Great grocery store with all the modern amenities. Large range of selections, loads of variety. Fruits and vegetables consistently fresh and well managed. Great large soup/salad bar, olive bar, and really nice deli selection including a large special imported-cheese cooler (although not the highest-end cheeses). I've found the roasted chicken a bit too greasy and the deep fried stuff is heavy on batter and lower on flavor, but tasty deli items include many salads and prepared items like chicken parmesan and and stuffed cabbage. Very well-stocked meat section (although nobody really competes with Arnold's on meat) and the fresh fish selection is especially good, with great manager's specials. Bakery good, too, and hard to resist. Gluten-free section makes shopping for those items easy and convenient. The store includes a pharmacy and a large florist section that provides live healthy plants as well as flowers. But the real asset is the staff. Everyone is friendly, quick, glad to help, and knows their stuff: checkout lines are well-managed and usually quick; and the whole store is extremely clean, all suggesting excellent management. I find the Shnick's a much more pleasant experience than main competitor Kroger. My only complaint is a tendency I've seen over the years to reduce the range of labels in a product category, so I can no longer find my favorite Mexican salsa (El Paso), bottled tea (Pure Leaf gallons), things like that, that the store used to carry. Hope that selection- compression trend doesn't continue.
