It's lovely and so useful. A perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's probably the fastest way to bike or walk from Center City West to South Philly.
I anticipate someone will set up a water ice or ice cream stand over the summer and rack up. The whole walk I kept thinking the only thing that would now this better is a mango gelati...

I love to come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It can sometimes get busy but never overwhelming. Any season, its always a nice spot. There are benches where you can sit by the riverfront and enjoy the view of the City and River. I also like how it's clean and you don't normally see litter on the grass or the sidewalk.

A long flat dirt trail along the channel with nice views. We rode one hour one way and returned. Trail after rain could be muddy. Weekend parking is limited, there are lot of bike enthusiasts. Parking lot has public toilet.

I love the Schuylkill Bank, I can fish there, take videos of my trains that come by, do my exercise and have lots of fun and meet new people.
