Great place. Went with a couple of friends and we were completely blown away. I didn't grow up in Vancouver (or North America, for that matter) and we never had anything like that back home. Which is a shame, one's interest in STEM and surroundings should be encouraged from early age and Science World does an excellent job in that. It's definitely more suited for kids, but most adults will find it interesting nonetheless! They also have a cute little bookshop worth checking out and a massive theatre.

I had a blast over there with friends. It was my first time and i enjoyed spending almost 3 hours in there on a Saturday. It s more for a family activity but still I had a blast. Will definitely suggest you to go there. They have good fare for family and also military discount.

I hope this event improves dramatically. We went specifically for the after dark, where the entire area is licenced. While the idea is good, it turns out many finer aspects could be improved. I would have preferred a schedule or map of what was happening where and when. The announcements were very difficult to hear and provided very little information. As much as I enjoyed the presentations, I had the distinct impression that the exact same presentations are done for everyone, when at an adults only event, could we not take them that much further? For the liquor, consider using different cups instead of filling the tiny tiny wine glasses full. Which were still disproportionate to the beer servings. No mention of upcoming events, or participation from staff were evident. It felt more like I was an after hours burden than a guest - my first time ever to this venue. The feature exhibit was great! I enjoyed learning more about the Canadian contribution to society. Overall, if you want to enjoy a great feature exhibit, and check out a few other things, I recommend the venue, not the after dark event.

The new wonder place for toddlers is amazing! My 3yo daughter loved discovering the various interactive activities. Her favourite is the mini sand pit, bright lights pin board, fire truck, water play area, and the climbing area. That's almost the whole thing. We also looked around Sarah's corner and Eureka's. Toddlers could spend hours exploring and learning. We got the membership and will definitely return in the near future. Totally worth it especially when it's too cold and rainy in the winter time!

Science World is Not For Profit organization that specializes in the education of the public on Scientific topics. They have several permanent galleries as well as a rotating gallery that changes every few months. The staff are cheerful and happy to have discussions with you. They also have "Science Shows" nearly every hour when they're open. I recommend the Electricity Show!
