One of the best restaurants in Dayton. I love their Pimento Cheeseburger, and fries. For dessert I recommend you grab a slice of carrot cake and have their french pressed coffee. If you get dessert you should probably split this or plan on bringing some leftovers home. Otherwise you will be way too stuffed. 

Anyway, great place, atmosphere and service is excellent.

Fantastic food and charming atmosphere in an Victorian house turned in to a restaurant.  Have yet to find anything on the menu that wasn't great. My favorites so far are the following. *Meatloaf with mashed potatoes onion rings and graveyard. (best with in a 100 miles)
*Catfish is real deal awesomeness fresh and fried to perfection.  Finally someone in the area that knows how to make a great hush puppy! 
*Shrimp & Grits are wonderful different spin on it using a fried grit cake big tasty shrimp.
*Great desserts if you can save room.

I eat here every chance I get.  It’s not only the best honey hole for food in Dayton but in my opinion, it’s better than the majority of high end restaurants in North Atlanta where I live.  You can tell the Owners are not only top notch chefs out of Charleston but also super passionate about what they do which is create amazing food that never disappoints.

Nothing is ordinary and everything is great! The servers are mostly high school or college-aged kids from the community. This means that the service may not be 5-star restaurant quality, but it is always charming and sweet - wouldn't change that because it adds to the charm of the place. The food is just a little bit different that what you would imagine. There's an interesting and yummy twist on every dish I have tried. This visit, it was mac and cheese and an amazing steak! This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant!

This place is out of the way, unless you're already in Dayton. That said, it is WORTH THE DRIVE!!! We used to eat there when it was a little hole in the wall north of Soddy. Very glad to see they have a much larger place now, with better parking to boot. Love their fried chicken sandwich, and tried the new chicken and waffles, which was amazing. The food is delicious and you get plenty of it with your order.
