I enjoy the food. Their menu has a wide variety sure to please everyone whether you like sushi, fish and chips, pasta  or catch of the day. 
My only complaint is that it's noisy. 
If you sit inside at least there is climate control (air conditioned for summer and heat in winter) but sitting outside downright unpleasant not only  from all the traffic noise but the exhaust fumes as well. We showed up last Easter for lunch without a reservation and when we asked to sit inside the hostess was almost indignant that we would even ASK for such a privilege without a reservation and seated us as close to the road as possible

My wife and her mother have gone here a few times - I'm a newbie, they're Ojai natives. Delicious meals here! 

We always leave with full, happy bellies, having been helped out with wonderful and attentive service.

Everyone was very nice and the fish was fresh but it does take effort to ruin the flavor of fresh fish. A common palate my like these dishes but I grew up in a village by the sea in italy and it's sad to taste fresh mussels served in a hospital broth. Fresh fish's flavor must be enhanced not covered. Pricy for what it is. Grateful for the server that was kind and professional.

I got some food to go. The captains combo plate was inedible, had to spit it out. The other seafood was ok, My family was very hungry, so anything tastes ok.  Except the poke, enjoyed that.  Buttom line,  I should have made mac and cheese from the beginning. Would have saved time and a lot of money. As a single mom, just want a break from cooking and treat the family with a nice seafood meal. Jokes on me. Never again!
