The Sea Glass Cafe has been a staple in the New Bern area since 2007 for breakfast, brunch, lunch and baked goods. A wonderful little cafe that changed locations and has sometimes been thought out of business! Guess what? We are NOT out of business.

Love this place. Service is great and the food Is delicious. Pancakes are consistently thick, fluffy and hot. I've never had anything that I didn't enjoy when dining here. Lunch is every bit as good as breakfast.

Oh how I love seaglass. I'm here once a week for either the amazing breakfast tacos (locally crafted tortillas make all the difference) or the chucks club (cranberry mayonnaise is heaven). Then I get a delicious fair trade coffee and my day is made. The service is prompt and if they are busy I am at least acknowledged, which I think is important.

I had a wonderful Spartan chicken sandwich! I would definitely get it a again. Staff were friendly and attentive. My only complaint was that the waffle fries were not hot.  

I want to try the Sea glass Benedict!

Attentive staff, great food and huge portions.    Glad we stopped here over IHOP! The Smore pancakes were amazing

New ownership has affected quality, unfortunately.  Weak coffee, more pre-packaged items used, more wait staff but far slower service.  They need to improve the air conditioning system, too.  Used to be five stars from me but now a marginal 3.  You'd like Carolina Bagel better....
