We drove 12 hours in our RV to come visit Canon Beach. We chose to stay at Sea Ranch because of their ranch, my family (6 kids and my parents) had been looking forward to riding horses on the beach all summer. We pulled in at about 9:45 pm. Trying to maneuver through the campground to our spot in the dark was an absolute nightmare as the roads were so small; when we found our spot we were shocked at how small it was. Seemed everyone around us was in a tent. The incline was impossible in our RV. We ended up staying in another spot near the office just for the night, and in the morning they had a new spot open up for us to go to. The reason I'm giving Sea Ranch two stars is due to how rude the workers are. I wish I knew their names, we encountered 3 or 4 just nasty rude people. The next day, after moving the RV, we went to check out the Ranch. The horses were out so we started walking toward the stables. There was a girl behind the fence with the horses who said nothing as we got closer, all 8 of us standing there, my 3 youngest siblings were on bikes. There was a little barn with the doors wide open, this looked like where we should check in. My mom and I walked inside to see a lady at a desk, as soon as she saw us "what are you doing in here! Go outside! I'll help you outside!" So we walked outside and she looked at the 3 little kids and she said "are they yours?" And my mom said yes, and the lady said "get them out, I don't allow bikes" (mind you, everyone but my mom and I were at least 70ft away from an animal or building). I left after that but my mom said the lady couldn't have been more rude, and she was yelling at her coworker, we chose not to ride horses after this. It's 95$ for each person, and no more than one person on each horse. We were willing drop a pretty penny for all 8 of us to ride a damn horse.

We arrived early evening last minute without reservations on a Friday. There was one spot left, 14G. The space was perfect nestled in a grove of Alders along the edge of forest with our own fire pit and close to the main bathrooms. There were dish washing stations, recycling bins and the bathrooms were cleaned through out day. Hot showers! There's firewood and ice for sale and lots of cute bunnies running around. We had a great time for my sisters birthday weekend. South we go to the next. Poo

Loved it here! The town & beach were just a short walk away. Loved the outdoor lights that came on after dark by our camping spot, our fire pit, being able to get a cup of coffee in the morning, they sold fire wood, and friendly directions around town. We plan to come again, we had so much fun!

Great park for RVing, nice and friendly staff. Horseback riding trip out of the park to Haystack was awesome! Super close walking distance to downtown and the beach! Bathrooms are a little outdated and rough ...in need of updating but all in all...great stay and will do it again!

We've stayed at Sea Ranch multiple times over a period of several years. It's probably my favorite place to stay anywhere on the coast, and one of my favorites anywhere at all. Relaxing, friendly, a short walk to the beach. The kids love watching the bunnies around the park.
