It depends on why you visit this park whether or not it's for you. I liked the smaller trails, more interesting foliage and critters. If you want to walk or run. I recommend the larger trails. But as in other posts, bring sunscreen and water if you plan on walking the larger trails. It's a very sandy trail and I ended up with shoes full of it. I stayed on the larger trail for a short period of time because it's a bit desolate. Signs need to be better, more details. If you're looking for beach or water access, good luck because I never found it and based on the photos I though I would. I won't return unfortunately. There are better parks.

This place is huge! Be careful and keep your gps handy. It is very bareboned but with plenty of trails. It has some very unique formations.

Tough walking in soft sand. Not much variety in vegetation. Wish there was a clean trail to the intercoastal

This is one of my favorite places to go walking. It is never very busy. There are two walking trails, one 3 miles the other 2 miles, which both meet up in the center of the park. The ground is sand, as Seabranch used to be submerged under the ocean. There are about four different ecosystems within the park, making it a unique experience as along your walk you will encounter very different types of landscape. Bring plenty of water, the sand pines don't provide much shade here. The small parking lot is right off of Dixie Highway and shares a driveway with the VFW. The trailhead area has a picnic tables under a covered pavilion, water fountains, a trail map, and a compost toilet (it is the cleanest outhouse I've ever encountered). The paved Greenways trail also runs by the parking lot and through the park. Five stars because I always have a relaxing, enjoyable time at this lesser-known state park.

Great little preserve for a hike in the woods to unplug from the hustle and bustle. Nothing too extraordinary about the park but the trails are long enough to get a good hike in for the week. Not much tree coverage so be mindful of the sun - water and sunscreen - when you go.
