We rented for long term and left fairly recently. Yes parking is too tight, yes the showers are not so great, yes the owner's rules are strict (and don't necessarily make sense). Why 4 stars? Long term rental is affordable in an overpriced area and it's very close to the beach (and ice cream, and great Mexican food, and a mini-mart). The couple that manages the site have great personality and try hard. The loud problem guy mentioned in other reviews is long gone. At the time of this review, I don't know the status of the repairs of damage caused to the parking area due to the heavy rain. They were also discussing redoing the bathrooms.

Small spaces, strict rules, zero tolerance for loud, obnoxious druggies. Great for quiet folks. Go upstairs to talk to manager upon arrival.

Seacliff RV Park is a complete hole in the ground. You are packed in like sardines, you open your door and hit another RV. The showers are horrible. Mold through out. I had to clean the shower first, before I would step in! The shower curtains are filled with mold and hair. The manager Chuck like to gossip, do crap to you behind your back, and will not come talk to you if there's a problem. All around a horrible experience!

there is a crazy loud alcoholic person living there named 'Jerry' who is apparently a permanent resident. he's very loud and drinks all day...by mid afternoon u can hear him yelling from really far away. he gets nasty and kinda menacing. we planned on spending a week there and had to leave early cause this guy was scaring the hell out of our kids. how can an otherwise seemingly reasonable park have someone like that residing in it? would think it would be bad for business and he would be booted out...certainly drove us out and away, and management didn't seem to care. will never stay there again! and by the way, he's still there as of this post...we checked...avoid at all costs!

234 State Park Dr, Aptos, CA 95003 My stay was an extended stay from March 2015 through September 2015. So I really know the place! There was drug suppliers coming in at all times of the day and night, supplying the person who resides there (Juan). Juan would then sell the drugs at the local liquor/store market, also within the park. There were four RVers who were using heroin the whole time, Meth, and I think just about everyone was using cannabis (pot). They were all being sold within the park. Juan, who was selling the drugs still resides there. He gets to break all the rules, I once asked him why he gets to. He said, "I do things for the manager like trim the plants, wash the cars, sweep, paint, fix the cars...all like washing his back, he washes mine. You will never know when it comes in handy." So it does, so it does. While I was there, he verbally abused several people who reside their. Two of which he got into fights with. There is also some who camp there every year who have decided to not come back anymore because of how it has gone downhill. In September, several long time residents moved out and into other parks. The night of the eclipse, one of the long time residents got into an argument with his girlfriend also a long time resident, Sheri, and he committed suicide right in his RV. "Everyone just kept walking like nothing happened while they waited for the coroner to show up." Brandon said. (Another resident of the park.) The park is a parking lot, with narrow spots, you won't be able to open up your canopy, it is close to the beach, and a couple of restaurants. Marianne's ice cream (expensive but good). The bathrooms are old and need to be rebuilt, but are kept clean...once every two weeks or so. Laundry is cheap at $1.50 a load. If you decide to stay there, be careful to not be too straight, know too much, or be too techie on a computer. Just stay to yourself, and enjoy the area for a weekend and leave.
