The wife and I drove from Lafayete, approximately 70 miles, to enjoy some nice boiled crabs.  Well, we got some nice medium size crabs.  Really tasty and full.  The only complaint I have is, apparently some friends of the owner came in and ordered boiled crabs also....  but after being greeted by the owner, they received some very nice X-large crabs.  Hey,  I’m glad they got some nice crabs, but I drove an hour and paid a pretty price for what I got.  It was like a slap in the face,  it would be nice if everyone patronizing this establishment would be treated the same!

The freshest crabs I ever tasted in the past years, so fulfilling.  yummy..... the crab meat is so juicy and chewy, have never eaten so many crabs on one go.  It's an experience working on how to eat the crabs in the best way.  Had a small serving of fried gator nuggets, nice meat!  Servers are efficient going round to check on our needs.  Superb delicious crabs!

10/27/17, my husband and I had dinner there. We both got a small shrimp and oyster plate. We both got 3 shrimps, he got 3 oysters, I got 2 1/2 oysters (the 1/2 could've been dough). We got a beer and a tea....$32. I have gastric bypass and left hungry. I was so disappointed because all the reviews were great. The food was good, the amount was laughable if we hadn't paid so much. Below is a $12.99 plate.

Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Had to wait an hour to get our food. Fish was not fully cooked and had no seasoning at all. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food is great, but a little pricey. That being said,  this is the place I go when I want Louisiana's seafood. I don't like the cocktail sauce though,  but the crawfish such is good, would be better with fresh minced garlic. It's a very family friendly place,  and good for groups. They do serve beer,  but no hard liquor.
