Early evening California sunsets. This beach front park is all that and a bag of snacks, too. The sound of the ocean is so rhythmic and the water is crisp and pristine with aquamarine and seafoam waves crashing in to the sandy shore line. With plenty of park benches, grassy turf, and classy walk up pubs, a small town gal like me can feel right at home in this destination beach hideaway. Well played, Del Mar. Well played.

A tiny park, but with an amazing location.  Lots of good food close by, and the train comes by often... So it's great if you are a rail fan like me.  The ocean is just across the tracks, so there's something for everyone.

A jewel in the beautiful crown of San Diego. Mostly locals so parking is good and the vibe is right. Probably the best beach to take your kids to and the surf is pretty good too!

Great place. I was able to find free parking (get there early) perhaps walk a couple blocks. Beautiful place,has it all. Grass/park like setting with playground close enough to the beach and water to not feel alienated. Beautiful clean beaches! Great walking path for beautiful ocean views. Don't forget the adorable little shops too.  Definately my favorite place. I'll be back for sure!
