Worst experience.  Unprofessional and completely clueless. Many of the project managers don't even have a background in construction. First crew they sent us was a nightmare.  My siding was crooked, materials were damaged, insulation was not installed properly. After going back and forth for over a week they sent us another crew  (who were absolutely amazing- wish we could have hired them on their own)  although the job was fixed and came out good- it was the overall experience that ruined my regard for Sears. No one ever apologized. No one ever took responsibility. It was all just excuses and scripted responses. If you don't know what you're talking about they will tale advantage of you. Get a second opinion. Do your homework.

Sears home improvements did a wonderful job replacing our windows, gutters, vinyl shakes on our house and most recently replacing our gas heater. Oh by the way, the gas heater they just replaced was a 30 year old heater from sears also! Windows were done in 2016, shakes and gutters in 2013, and heater in 2017. Highly recommend Sears!

My wife and I were so pleased with the way we were taken care of from the start of our HVAC project to the end.  Joe Hindley, the Sales Project Consultant, showed us which unit would be best for our size home and explained to us what to expect on the day of the installation.  He was not pushy and listened to all our concerns.  We were called by  Al O'Brien,  the HVAC Project Coordinator, who located the unit which was to be installed at our home and then setup the install date around our work schedule.  On the day of the install the technicians Miguel and Bill from The Heating and Cooling Pros arrived and removed our old unit and installed the new unit.  They arrived on time and did a great job.  They showed us how to use the new thermostat and when done the area was thoroughly cleaned.  Nice.  Our experience with the Sears HVAC Team was a pleasure and if the need arises again we will look to Sears once more.  Great work.

This was a grood experience. I had multiple services done (new gas furnace and 19 windows). The contractors were all courteous and professional. I do wish that the person they sent to do estimates had come with a book of options or styles for windows and furnaces.

The installers did a fine job but I have other projects that I will find a different company that will deal with me fairly and honestly.
The salesman, Joe, promised things that I have not received. When I called him he was very short, rude and degrading with me. He made the sale and wanted nothing more to do with me! He claims he returned my calls and left a message . I have voicemail and caller ID!
After calling Joe's boss, Al (more than once) and leaving messages requesting return calls he also did not return them.
I have dealt with Sears since 1971 and never had a problem they did not promptly resolve with courtesy and professionalism.
This experience shows me that Sears is not the great company it used to be!!!!!!!!!!
Sears is not even worthy of one star but I could not post otherwise.
