I’m 6-8 months late in posting this review and am doing this on behalf of my parents who bought a painting at Seaside gallery 10 years ago and noticed that it began chipping. They spoke with the manager of the gallery who after much effort located the original artist and re-did the painting for a very reasonable price. My parents were very happy with the managers assistance and professionalism. She went above and beyond the call of duty. The gallery caters to local artist, the set up is nice and a great place to visit.
This cute little art shop is a fun place to look around and see some pieces from local artists. There are a few nice pieces, depending on what you like. The woman running the shop can be helpful, depending on your age and status. I was there with my parents and children and considering buying one of the pieces. I couldn't get much attention or questions answered as she kept redirecting her attention to my parents maybe thinking this was the best way for her to make a sale? and ended up just leaving. This place is a great way to kill some time and see some cute pieces, not sure it's the best place to buy your art.
Extremely unhappy with their service and professionalism. When I came to pick up the artwork, I had to check their work. No certifications, prices missing, etc for my records. Lady argued if any artwork should come with a COA. Spoke to owner and he never followed up. Currently resolving the issue directly with the artist. Phone number online doesn't work. Lady at the store will hound you to pick up your painting during covid from her personal phone. Even when the artwork isn't prepared for pick up. Very disappointed in their service from the start. I recommend galleries that provide COA and package the artwork correctly.
This place is absolutely gorgeous. So many different artists and unique paintings that I wanted to take all of them home! They have a rotating gallery so some of the paintings I saw today may be gone tomorrow. If you take your kiddos they let them draw while you're looking around and then post them on a wall behind the desk. That place is full of good energy. What a great place to visit while in Pismo Beach!
It's worth a look around. Sherie was really friendly. She also highlighted two artist in the gallery and shared some details of their work. Didn't purchase anything, but it's worth checking out.
Found a wonderful work of artistic flair and feelings. A painting with so much depth you can nearly hear it. This is a definate go to gallery for fine art.
Was very enjoyable, Teressena, art consultant took me through the entire gallery and told me about all the artists, the prices are very doable.
The best gallery around.
