They'd do better to stick with the vegetarian selection of their Santa Rosa store. As it is, in trying to compete with even the relatively small Sebastopol Whole Foods, they do nothing really well.

They do have some vegan stuff, but  overall, not as much as the Santa Rosa store, which is itself, disappointing.

Lovely personal, hometown service. Nonprofit.  Earth-friendly.  Affordable prices (compared to other grocery and health food stores), only organic produce, focus on local and quality everything, excellent variety, deli, pizza, hot food bar, bar bar, indoor and outdoor seating, bulk items, health and wellness items, gift items, community and people-oriented!  Sebastopol location also has meat and fish counter (Victorian Farmstead).  A treasure for the community since 1975 in Santa Rosa, and now in Sebastopol.

Manager made the executive decision to let two crazy women customers weve never seen in our life of living in Sebastopol attack my husband and myself, these women were screaming profanity and getting in our face for telling them to leave us alone several times we walked away from them and they wouldnt leave us alone and then when they finnaly did they complained to the manager who went ahead and ganged up on us with them siding with thier deranged behaivior and even kicked us out because the opinions of the two crazy women were more important then our rights of being left alone. These two women attacked us based on the assumption that I had the flu because they had seen me throw up one time outside which was tottaly froma seperate issue being that i was having morning sickness, I wasnt throwing up in the store nor was i having any body fluids coming from my body at all as i was in the store, they even went on to say that I was putting everyones life at risk in the whole store and that the flu is killing people and the manager thought this behaivior was ok! The manager also claims were thiefs for taking water from the caffiteria water system which isnt for sale nor does it have a sign saying you can or cant feel up small or big jugs with water, we only filled up our little jugs every now and then just like every one else does everyday and we were paying customers and we were also told by several employees to feel free to fill up with that water. We have been living here longer then they have been here and are connected to our community in so many ways this is really strange behaivior and its sad that this mantality is taken as ok. I have told so many people good things about this place and to shop here and have had so many positive experiences here but this has left an enormously bad taste in my mouth for wanting to ever go back or ever tell others to go here. Mabey they well take responsibility for there mistakes as managers or mabey they will be definsive again and scape goat us some more and say my husband and I made a scene (defending ourselves outside of store while being ganged up on and assulted) which was only after the fact of these two crazy women cussing at us and getting in our faces in the store and then complaining to the managers to remove us and have a talk with us which was wrong because they simply should have told these women to leave us alone or leave the store not bother us because we never did anything to be approached by the managers. THIS IS FULL ON DISCRIMINATION AND DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER.

love the deli staff.. but holy shiznit 30 minute wait for a sloppy thrown together sandwich that also isn't what I ordered, is ridiculous.
