How we do it: we scour the whole western PA furniture marketplace looking for great deals. Sometimes the furniture is in great shape and we don't need to do a thing but clean it up and put it on the floor. Other times, the furniture needs a little work. So we sand it, scrape it, shine it and shape it so it becomes more than presentable. It becomes a work of art.
In fact, we also make some of our furniture and take consignment from other creative furniture makers. Plus, we accept paintings, drawings, photos, sculptures and all kinds of arts on consignment from student and beginning artists. Why do we go through all this trouble? Of course, we're trying to make a living but we think everybody should have a chance at beautiful living, even if it's their Second Chance.
