Use this locksmith at your own peril. John was hired to install a door latch for the business I manage. After only 6 months the latch began to malfunction trapping patrons inside. It took multiple attempts over a week to get in touch with someone. When I did finally have the chance to speak with him, he told me it would be "a while" before someone could make it to our location to fix this problem. When I told him we don't have "a while" and this is an urgent issue, he hung up on me. I didn't hear from him again until the next day. He called before business hours and did not leave a voicemail. When I finally reached him later that day he informed me that he would've sent someone that morning, but no one answered the phone. Shifting blame to the customer is not the best approach to customer service. He then informed me that the guarantee was only 90 days. Then he quoted a ridiculous price and I declined. I located another locksmith to come check my issue. When he took the latch apart he found the problems. Poor workmanship, not the latch. John of Securitex did NOT properly install the latch. It requires 2 screws to fasten secure to the door on the inside. One screw was ok, but the second screw was bent and could not be removed very easily, so instead of replacing the screw to assure a secure fit, he hid the problem. He also neglected to seal a bottom screw properly which is responsible for holding the internal mechanisms in place. The slight give from not being securely fastened, along with the constant use and no seal for the bottom screw allowed the screw to slowly back out of place until finally jamming the whole latch locked. Effectively locking patrons inside the building. I hope this review can save people the headache I've gone through dealing with this business. On a side note, however, the office staff seems very friendly.

Steadfast & Decent. I emailed for them to re-key a condo door. I described and also showed a photograph. A day or two later, I got a call and scheduled the meet. Sam came and did everything. I'm satisfied. Thanks y'all .
