At first I thought, a cafe, and a yoga studio, in a strip mall for lunch? It is now one of my favorite places for a light flavorful lunch time. The food here is very fresh and clean without being bland healthy. I had the chicken salad plant based. It comes with potato chips haha. It was so fresh and delicious you would never know it wasn't the real thing. I've had it 3 times and never a fault. They also have what I think is the best cookies in the Twin Cities. They sprinkle them with sea salt, and it just elevates the flavor. I've only really seen that on cooking shows but, here you can live the experience. It's relaxing and clean, with many tables inside and outside. I noticed many come also for the smoothies. It's a happy and mostly healthy place for sure. The people are also very nice and helpful here. It also doesn't have that frantic restaurant vibe, it's nice to relax and eat your lunch in peace. Check it out.
Kale Caesar Wrap $13.50 There is an entire kale caesar salad inside of this wrap! Kale, capers, maple tempeh bacon, house-made caesar dressing, and lemon, warmed on the grill. It is so delicious that I went back twice in one week. It's the perfect location to stop in and grab a carryout lunch to take to the nearby lakes. It is shareable but don't! You'll want to gobble the entire thing. Update: Website says “temporarily closed. The owner has been charged with sexual assault of a young girl in Canada. Dietary restrictions: Great variety to accommodate most diets. Parking: It's shared parking with a shopping center. Can be quite busy but there is plenty of parking.
This is one of the more low-key vegan spots in Minneapolis, but don't overlook it! It comes off as very healthy, which doesn't always pique my appetite, but Seed has never steered me wrong! I absolutely love everything I've had from them! Their kale Caesar wrap has kale and tempeh, two ingredients that I don't always like, but I think about that wrap so often! The ancient grain granola at brunch was a similar story. I'd also recommend the tahini chocolate chip cookie and chai latte. Its location along the Green Way is superb. It's a great stop on a bike ride! Vegetarian options: It's all vegan! Dietary restrictions: They can help with gluten free options, but allergies, etc! Parking: There's plenty of parking in the lot, but my favorite way to get there is by bike via the Green Way! Kid-friendliness: I see kids there often.
Miss this place…hopefully they will be open for business soon! Been here several times and love it. Upbeat atmosphere with indoor plants. Nearby Bde Maka Ska lake. The peanut tofu bowl, breakfast sandwich and BLT are my favorite dishes.Food: 5/5
Cute plant-based food spot. Came from breakfast. The berry French toast was good, the tofu-take on 'scrambled eggs' wasn't good but worth a shot. The teas choices were great and tasty. Love any place trying to be plant based so gave an extra star, although the food was only 4/5.
After following them for months on Instagram, Seed Cafe is officially open next door to Moda Yoga studio across from Whole Foods by Bde Maka Ska. Everyone in the restaurant were so nice and helpful. The cashier suggested the Kale Ceasar Salad and Chickpea Toast. I was blown away at the how the Chickpea Toast mimicked a tuna sandwich. It was soooooooo good. I mean really really good. Great job on creating a stellar sandwich. The Kale Ceasar was a bit overpriced for a salad but the dressing, capers and home made croutons gave it a nice touch. There were so many other items on the menu that seemed as if they would be just as tasty. Looking forward to trying a few more next time.
I have only had the best experiences here! The Legacy Wrap is the BEST wrap I've ever had. It's wonderful to go somewhere completely vegan. The bakery items are always super yummy. The vibe is very peaceful but bright and cheery.
This is the first vegetarian restaurant iv visited since I moved to Minneapolis. The staff are friendly, professional, chatty and helpful. And Oh the meal is delish. It's truly vegan with several creative meals in their menus. U gotta try them Vegetarian options: Creative vegetarian menus Parking: Not much parking space Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
You would never guess that this little semi-suburban strip mall had one of the best vegan places ever! The space is open, bright, and colorful, and there was a pop-up happening inside as well. The menu is perfectly sized, with not too many options to choose from, and included coffee beverages. I tried to 'Shrimp Tacos' and not only did they look amazing, they followed through in texture, flavor, and overall delight. I wish I could go back - definitely recommend!
Absolutely wonderful! I do not think I have ever been to a vegan only establishment before but I could not be more pleased with my choice to dine here for lunch. The atmosphere felt welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. I got the Peanut King Rice Bowl and decided to try the chocolate chip cookie since people seem to really like it and they are not kidding, that was probably the best cookie I have ever had. The sea salt on top is literally everything and the outside was crispy while the middle was soft, it could not have been more perfect! I still can not believe everything was vegan. I will definitely be trying out vegan recipes of my own because of this place : Also I ate part of the cookie before I took the picture, it comes whole I promise.
