I love sushi so I had to try this place out and I love the concept, it is super nice and comfortable to spend a nice evening with friends! Sushi is good in flavor, I like it very much, the only thing is that my flakes were not as crunchy as I like but besides that everything is great, nice service!

Food was delicious, everything had so much flavor and I think the edamame was honestly the best garlic edamame I've ever had! The staff were so incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was clean and had a welcoming environment. The wait for the food was a little on the long side, but everything else was absolutely perfect

We ate here for the first time tonight, Monday 12-26-22.  The food was very good. They had good vegan and vegetarian selections.  The ambience was very nice.  The service we received from Kevin was excellent as he was very attentive and friendly.  The price we were charged was reasonable.  The draft beers on Monday are $5.  We will definitely be back again soon.

I come here a lot after the gym. One of my favorite sushi spots in San Diego. They have a good mix of unique rolls and classics like a dragon roll. I also really like the chicken katsu curry. Very chill atmosphere and the service always great! Food: 5/5

I’ve been coming here for about a year and have loved getting vegetarian options at Sei. However, I got food poisoning last night after eating my take out! Agonizing. Staff is super kind, but I will never come back. After talking with friends, a lot of them have apparently gotten food poisoning after eating here… wish I had gotten the memo.

This is a great sushi place that doesn't break the bank. They have a happy hour with deals on hot sake and draft beers. I noticed this time that the Japanese pop videos were swapped out for sports. Maybe because we were a bit early for the regular dinner crowd. We asked for changes to a roll added avocado to the top and it was no problem.

Chicken Katsu Curry was outstanding. Very generous portion. They need to make it a regular menu item instead of a limited time special. I'd get it all the time.

Good flavors, nice restaurant. The edamame was overcooked. I ordered the spicy version and it was.

I love this sushi bar!  They have great selections of Nigiri, sushi and rolls. They also serve rice bowls, udon and ramen.  Asahi and Sapporo on tap.  It has a bit of an anime theme which is cool! They have drawings of anime characters and on one TV they play anime non-stop.  Staff is very friendly, be patient with service because they are typically busy.  I keep coming back!

I had the Smokey tonkatsu ramen and it is so flavorful and so good and the amount and quality is so satisfying. It also pairs well with sangria, keep up the good work! You guys are awesome
